So this is where I tell you a little bit about me. I’m a Wolverine fan living in Buckeye territory, but a Wildcat and a Pioneer at heart. Translation for you non-sporting folks out there: I grew up in Michigan, currently live near Columbus, Ohio, and count The University of Arizona and University of Denver as my alma maters. Got it? Good!
I’ve been writing professionally for more than twenty-five years, but I’ve been writing for myself for a lot longer than that. I’ve written marketing and promotional pieces for the Hallmark Channel, been involved in the creations of shows for Food Network and HGTV, and I’ve written and produced commercials and marketing materials for hundreds of local and regional businesses. I currently spend my days writing content for companies involved in renewable energy, microgrids, electric vehicles, recreational vehicles, and travel.
A few fun facts about me:
I believe there is at least one line in the movie Christmas Vacation that is applicable to any situation in life. I love learning and trying new things. That being said, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, even with a parachute, is not on my bucket list.
When I’m not writing, you’ll often find me in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, on a hike exploring new places, or curled up with a good book. You will never find me consuming lima beans or Brussel sprouts. I will, however, write about them. If I must.
